Welcome Welcome to Legacy Midwifery, well women and childbirth support services. We are happy to serve you in your childbearing year. We offer traditional midwifery and well woman care. At Legacy, we are mindful of the rich history around birth in America and around the world, since the beginning of time. So we honor some of those traditions as we provide holistic woman and family centered care in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Midwife The word midwife means "with woman". At Legacy, we follow the midwives model of care. Personal, practical and professional. With low interventions woman centered care has been proven to reduce the incidence of birth injury, trauma and cesarean section. Midwives provide mothers and families with individualized education, counseling and prenatal care. We hold a safe place, with continuous attention to mother's and baby's well being . Here at Legacy Midwifery, we consider it our pleasure and an honor to get to know you and your family. And hope that we are afforded the privilege to serve you in and around your childbearing years.
